Is It Over?

I’m ready for this Election to be over. We seriously have to endure one more week of this crap?
Lately, I’ve been feeling so much anxiety in my heart, and I didn’t really take a second to put a finger on what was causing it until last night.
It’s this stupid election. It’s all this drama. It’s the evil spinning around everywhere working overtime to destroy America.

Maybe you think I’m drinking the Kool-Aid on this, but the day he announced his candidacy,
I said to my husband, “He needs to be the one to win. I’m voting for him.”

But he calls women fat! But he hasn’t paid all his taxes! But he has claimed bankruptcy!
But he won’t release his tax returns! But he said he grabs women! But he this, but he that!

You know something? I don’t care. Here’s why.

I don’t want my children growing up in a country with a president who is “extremely careless” with our nation’s Top Secret information.
DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS??
Being extremely careless behind the wheel of a car kills people. So since when is being extremely careless about anything okay,
let alone national security? If you dismiss this, you have wool pulled over your eyes.

I don’t want my children growing up in a country with a president who receives desperate requests for help
from their people overseas, but goes to sleep for the night instead of responding.
DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS??
What if that were YOUR son or daughter calling for help?! Since when did it become okay to leave our people to die?
If you dismiss this, you have wool pulled over your eyes.

I don’t want my children growing up in a country with a president that okays late-term abortions.
DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS??
What if it were your grandchild?
If life is considered over when the heart stops beating, why is it not considered begun when the heart starts beating?
If you dismiss this, you have wool pulled over your eyes.
Destroying a fetus with a heartbeat IS murder, whether you want to accept that or not.

I don’t want my children growing up in a country with a president who lies about lying,
and then continues to lie when caught in said lies—a proven lifetime liar.
DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS??
Do you want your children growing up in a country where wrong is made out to be right and right is made out to be wrong?
Immorality is unacceptable.
If you dismiss this, you have wool pulled over your eyes.

I’m not even going to get into the economy and the Supreme Court…

It isn’t new information that this country was founded upon Judeo-Christian beliefs. The people of this country obviously aren’t required to believe that way to live here, but they are still required to respect and abide by the laws in place. At least that’s the way it used to be—the way it should be. People who don’t like India’s laws move somewhere else. People who don’t like England’s laws move somewhere else. But people who don’t like America’s laws devote themselves to changing or destroying said laws.

This nation was established to be a ‘city on a hill,’ able to be self-governed because of virtuous inhabitants guided by clear definitions of right and wrong, able to stand up for what’s right. This country was established through bloodshed to be different from other countries. Our nation has a history filled with tumultuous times, but from those times always arose groups of people, virtuous inhabitants, who were able to stand up for what’s been defined as divinely right.

Tyranny? Defeated. Slavery? Abolished. The list goes on.
No one race has done everything right. No one race has done everything wrong.
It’s always been about what’s in people’s hearts being proved by their life-long words and deeds.
A mixing of virtuous people has been what has defined America.

Trump has spent his life as a businessman. His job was to entrepreneurially make money. And no, he isn’t perfect. NO ONE IS. But I would sleep muuuuch better at night knowing a hard-working American businessman, who’s devoted his life to building things, donated to those in need without the spotlight on his actions, and jumped into the political ring to fight corruption he saw crippling our country, is at the helm,
rather a career politician who has spent their life trapped in their own falsehoods and cover-ups, surrounded by scandal,
and stained with the blood of our own Americans.

You may not like Trump– no one is telling you to. But look at the kind of people each candidate has surrounded themselves with. Imagine your child. Would you want your own child hanging around with other children that lie? that sext? that cheat? that cover-up mistakes? that steal money? that ignore those asking for help? Or would you rather them be around a doctor? a successful governor? a mayor? a pastor? those who actually respond to calls for help?

men
It’s a stark contrast.
If you can’t see it, you have wool pulled over your eyes!

There’s a reason this country has been richly blessed with freedom. It isn’t physical, it’s spiritual. God was included in its founding.
The Bible is the book upon which this republic stands. You don’t have to believe in God—no one is telling you to.
In fact, the great thing is, you reap the blessings bestowed by God on America simply by living in it.
But regardless of whether you believe in the Judeo-Christian God or not, the same principles that worked in 1776
are the same principles that will work now: God MUST stay in our system.
If you don’t like it, move somewhere that was established according to the way you want things.

I don’t care what anyone says at this point. The choice IS clear.
You can vote for the candidate who has their crowds cheering THEIR name.
Or you can vote for the candidate who has their crowds cheering OUR COUNTRY’S name.

I, for one, will always vote for our country’s name.
I will always vote for keeping our laws intact and upholding the values this nation was originally founded on.
I will vote for one nation UNDER GOD every time.

Don’t be fooled!

This is our chance to not let everything our country was founded upon to create our virtuous freedom be overturned.

This is our one chance.

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
— Ronald Reagan

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn’t,
than live as if there isn’t and die to find out that there is.

— Albert Camus

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14
